      Birds of a Feather

A pair of black swans glided effortlessly as the warm Oklahoma sun left sparkling glitter on the water's surface. The couple was a familiar site on the small lake. You've heard the saying, "Birds of a feather flock together." It was certainly true of this twosome. They seemed to be inseparable, always together, whether moving smoothly across the water or basking in the sun along the banks.

      True Soul Mates

Acquaintances and fair-weather friends are easy to come by. Harder to find are those who become friends forever. Those fortunate enough to have this relationship are easily recognized. They just seem to fit together. You can't think of one without thinking of the other. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse - The Lone Ranger and Tonto - Romeo and Juliet - Butch and Sundance - Laurel and Hardy - Fred and Wilma - Batman and Robin -Rocky and Bullwinkle - Clarence and Nora (Brenda's grandparents). All are examples of true soul mates, friends forever.

Solomon, King of Israel, wrote about friendship. "If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!" and "There are friends who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother."

Do you need a friend like the one described by Solomon? One exists. Learn more.
