      A Riddle

If a turtle loses its shell is it naked or homeless?

That was the question posed by Fred Miller in his Points to Ponder. If a poll were taken, I'm sure there would be a large percentage of voters on both sides. A few would climb the undecided fence. How would you answer?

      The Real Answer

Similar questions are raised every day in real life. You can fill in your favorite Hot Topic. Unfortunately, the emphasis is usually given to the responses and to those responding rather than the real answers. Debates are held. Committees are organized. More polls are taken. Celebrities make guest appearances on talk shows.

Of course the real answer is not whether the turtle is naked or homeless. The real answer is that the turtle has a genuine problem and needs help. James, one of the earthly brothers of Jesus, said, "If you know someone who doesn't have any clothes or food, you shouldn't just say, 'I hope all goes well for you. I hope you will be warm and have plenty to eat.' What good is it to say this, unless you do something to help?"

There are many organizations that are making a real difference in today's world. Here's just a couple:
        Shaohannah's Hope
        Food for the Hungry

One riddle that every person must answer is, "What happens when I die?" Learn more.
