Where's George?
We've all been in the situation of having too much month at the end
of our money. Have you ever asked yourself where all your money
went? Well, I came across an interesting web site this week that
answers that question. Maybe you've heard of it or even checked it
out. It's called Where's George?
Just enter the denomination, series, and serial number of any US bill,
along with your current USA ZIP or Canadian Post Code. If the bill has
been entered before, you will get a list of all the cities and states
where it has been entered plus the travel time and distance. If it has
not been entered before, then a new list is started and the future
travel of the bill can be tracked. The downside is that you still don't
have any more money for the month - but at least you can now know
where it all went.
Who's Gotcha Nose?
Trying to find out where something went is something we are taught early. "Peek-a-Boo," "Hide and Seek," and "Button, Button, Who's Got the Button," were all part of my formative years. And what two-year old hasn't had their nose pulled off and stuck between Grandpa's fingers? Unfortunately, it doesn't end when we get older. I haven't played "Hide and Seek" lately, but I do find myself asking, "Where did I put that?" "What did I come in here for?" or "What was my password again?" I may be losing my mind; but at least I have it all saved on my "Palm Pilot."Where Are You?
